Case StudyA Sky Shot basketball machine, custom-wrapped in the 80 Proof brand set for the Thirsty Camel trade expo.
80 Proof were taking their spirits range — Bush Pig, Kick The Rules and Sour Puss — to the Thirsty Camel trade expo. A trade floor is a hard room: every stand is competing for the attention of buyers who have already walked past forty others. They wanted something that stopped people, not another table with bottles on it.
80 Proof had their stand sorted — the Shot Bar backdrop, the bar covers, the artwork. Our job was the machine, and to make it look like it had always belonged there. We wrapped a Sky Shot basketball machine in their brand set, matching the existing campaign artwork so it reads as part of the stand rather than a hire unit parked beside it. That is most of the work with a machine like this: dropping into someone else’s design without breaking it.
A basketball machine gives buyers a reason to stop and a reason to stay. The scoreboard does the rest: a live high score turns a quiet stand into a competition, reps get a natural opening line, and people hang around long enough to actually taste something. That is the whole game at an expo — dwell time you did not have to beg for.
We can also produce the print around the machine — backdrop walls, bar covers, banners and custom builds — through our own facility, so the whole stand is designed and printed together. On this job 80 Proof already had it handled. Either way works: brief us on the machine, or the machine and the build.
